About iSignin

What is it?

iSignin = I Sign In.  A simple web-based in-out board service that gives you a snap shot of where your co-workers are when you need to get hold of them. Remember the old fashion way of having a big In-Out marker board on the wall in the office? iSignin is a great electronic improvement of that tool. One common frustration in any organization / company is getting hold of people when you need them, simply because you don't know where they are. "Hey, have you seen John today?", "Is Mary in the office today or is she home sick?", "When will Tom be on his vacation?", "Who is on vacation this week?", etc. Such questions could be easily answered using the iSignin board.

What can I do with iSignin?

Although the In-Out Board functionality is the heart of the iSignin application, you can also organize to-do lists, keep your contact list, find out the events happening in your organization, keep your calendar online, have your own portal, and more... (One good thing about the way iSignin work is that when a new feature is added or a bug resolved, it is updated immediately without the need to do any upgrading on your part. That's maintenance free!)

Who could benefit from using iSignin?

Basically any business or organization can benefit from iSignin. Especially small and medium size companies who do not want to invest too much into software and hardware. The aim of an In-Out board is simply to keep other people informed of your whereabout, in order to improve communication and productivity. So, how do I get started?

Sign up an account for your organization / company and go through a simple process of creating your user accounts. There is a tutorial provided in the Help module to walk you through on setting iSignin up for your company/organization. Once that is completed, users can start logging in and use the service over the internet using a web browser. Users are responsible to keep others informed by signing in and update their status. When you are signed in, you can get the latest status of the whereabout of everyone, as they update their status info too.

There's no software to download and nothing to install — and no maintenance even. We make it easy for you by taking care of everything for you on the web. Simple. To use this service, all you require is a connection to the internet and an internet browser.
